During the MASTEC program we were assigned to design an ergonomic mouse for individuals with disability. Working in association with a paralympic athlete, and going through different iterations our team was able to come up with a solution for people with less grip strength. The idea was to incorporate an ear like structure where a person can slide their fingers and use the mouse without gripping the mouse itself. After finalizing the design we named it Rodent and designed a logo.
There was an overwhelmingly positive reaction from regular users as-well, the ears made holding the mouse and using it more comfortable.
