Industrial Design was key for showcasing the form and features of our projects during the MASTECH course.

Hip Transformer
Hip Transformer is a concept hip luxation orthosis that is aimed to correct Developmental Hip Dysplasia in children. Designed with flexibility in mind, the orthosis is capable of changing waist size, length of the leg rests and the angles of flexion, extension, abduction and adduction. Visit Page

Smart Glass
A futuristic hearing aid which is capable of facial recognition and focusing on the most important sounds relying on the several microphones and eye-trackers built into the glass. The glass can be detached from the hearing aid to be used as regular hearing aid.

E-go!
A modern solution for individuals needing in flight wheelchair assistance. The wheelchair is designed to dock and undock automatically to the pre-existing flight chair.

Flower Vase
Used as the center piece for a dinning table, the flower vase blends into its surrounding environment. The flower vase is capable of capturing sounds around the table and broadcasting it over to the hearing aid user, giving the user a better conversational experience.

E-lluminati
E-lluminati is an auditory assistive technology which helps the hearing aid user to have better experience during an office conference. The device acts as an office center piece, while providing clear sound outputs to the user. Several cameras and microphones situated on the sides of the pyramid helps to identify the source of sound and broadcast it to the user in an efficient manner. Visit Page

Rodent
Working in association with a paralympic athlete, and going through different iterations our team was able to come up with a solution for people with less grip strength. The idea was to incorporate an ear like structure were a person can slide their fingers and use the mouse without gripping the mouse itself. After finalizing the design we named it Rodent and designed a logo. Visit Page
